With an exciting brand refresh, Sassy Woof was ready to apply their new look to their website. But in order to handle their growing traffic and revenue, the e-commerce journey had to be optimized, so they came to us for Shopify design and development expertise. The result was a tailored user experience design for off-the-charts happiness for themselves and their customers.

A Bespoke Design to Raise the E-Commerce Woof!
At Sassy Woof, dogs are more than pets…they’re family. This genuine love of dogs (along with Sassy Woof’s paw-some products) have been the driving force in the company’s recent growth—and we wanted to help achieve even deeper connections with their customers. So we got to work, creating a new web design to match their refreshed brand and gorgeous product photography.
With a brand like Sassy Woof, shopping should be fun, easy, and doggone joyful. And, with a majority of site traffic coming from mobile users, it was important to implement a bespoke responsive design Shopify experience to provide customers with a social-like shopping experience.
Everyone talks about mobile-first, but in this case, we wanted to make a mobile shopping experience that felt more like social media.
With features like ‘Quick Add’ and ‘Shop the Look’, and better site organization—we made it easier for customers to find what they want, and buy it in as few steps as possible. And, with built-in design control, Sassy Woof can promote products based on inventory and customer demand, as well as make design adjustments on the fly to accommodate new content.

We also added a 'Favorites' feature and an e-commerce loyalty program to help Sassy Woof stay connected to their loyal customer base while recruiting new pup-stomers

Prior to launch we evaluated the site on various devices and profiled the new theme's performance to ensure all industry benchmarks for technical SEO, accessibility, and speed were met (or exceeded).
Then, through our expertise of the Shopify e-commerce stack, we launched a fully-loaded Sassy Woof site with supporting marketing systems, analytics packages, and optimized for search. And, because Shopify sites can be notoriously slow based on the extensive use of apps and user calls to action, we made sure a speedy shopping experience was implemented.
